Conti (Essika) Steam Wand PTFE Gasket

This 13.5 x 7.5 x 3.5mm PTFE gasket is used exclusively in Conti (also branded Essika) steam wand assemblies, sealing the wand against the boiler outlet.

INSTALLATION

A quick DIY swap once the steam wand nut is removed.

PRO TIPS

  • PTFE gaskets compress permanently over time and won't "bounce back" — if the wand weeps around the base even after snugging the nut, the gasket is done, not just loose. Over-tightening a worn gasket just strips the nut threads.
