A standard external rotary vane pump motor, representative of the common motor style used across many espresso machines. The power supply cord is not included; the machine's lead attaches through the cord restraint to a screw clamp connector under the protective cover.

PRO TIPS
- When diagnosing motor-related problems, check the capacitor before committing to a full pump replacement. If the motor spins up to speed with the pump removed, especially with a light spin-start from a screwdriver, the pump is likely fine and the capacitor (which starts the motor) is the actual culprit.
