New black plastic version; the only one now available. Not suitable for the Silvia Pro, or Pro X.
In the old V1 and V2 versions, these are a real challenge to access. The two screws holding it on are located in between the front panel and a mounting bracket on top of the group. These are covered by the front panel in the old version, but for the version 3 they are accessible - kind of: the switches on the left are in the way.These Silvia Group Cover Black were introduced in 2019 and replaced the old chrome part #38123549. Rancilio still have no plans to manufacture them out of metal.
