Rancilio PTFE Heating Element Gasket

PTFE gasket that seals the heating element to the boiler on Rancilio machines, preventing water seepage around the element flange.

INSTALLATION

Requires draining the boiler and removing the heating element — a job best suited to an experienced DIYer or technician.

PRO TIPS

  • PTFE gaskets don't compress and re-seal the way rubber does — always install a fresh one when you pull the heating element rather than reusing the old gasket, even if it looks intact, or you risk a slow weep at the element flange.
  • Snug the element bolts down evenly in a star/cross pattern rather than one side at a time, to keep the PTFE gasket compressing flat against the boiler face.
