70 mm outside diameter at the rim, 60 mm body, for 58 mm diameter tampers. Ridgeless, with a flat bottom. The shape was created by I.M.S. to obtain the proper ratio between the base and height of the coffee puck in relation to capacity. The cylindrical flat bottom shape has been designed to exploit the whole coffee puck, which also facilitates drying and expulsion. I.M.S. perforation is exclusive and patented. This basket comes with exactly 565 hole perforations measuring in at tiny ­17µ (0.17mm) each. After being re-laminated and recalibrated, each basket is finished with a wet vibrofinishing by ceramic inserts and then dried with corncob. They are then refinished again with electropolishing to obtain a smooth surface resulting in a product with unmatched sanitary and non-contaminating qualities.
