This complete expansion valve, 1/4" male x 1/4" male, is used in almost every Nuova Simonelli model. Simonelli #72012007.

INSTALLATION

Moderate difficulty; basic hand tools.

  • This valve bleeds off excess pressure in the hydraulic circuit — if you're seeing brew pressure creep too high, chattering or hissing at idle, or hot water dripping from the valve body, that's a strong sign it needs replacing rather than the pump or gicleur.
