Nuova Simonelli High-Limit Safety Probe, Appia Compact & Oscar
This 167°F high-limit thermal probe is the safety cutoff that shuts down heating if boiler temperature climbs past a safe threshold, protecting the boiler and heating element from a runaway thermostat or dry-fire condition. It's UL approved and dual-rated, so one part covers both 110/115V and 220/240V machines.

- If your machine won't heat at all or trips out intermittently, check this probe before assuming the thermostat or PID is at fault, a failed high-limit probe reads as a no-heat fault even though the rest of the heating circuit tests fine.
