PRO TIPS

  • EPDM is the correct compound for this application - it holds up to hot water without swelling the way nitrile or silicone O-rings can, so don't substitute a generic hardware-store O-ring even if the dimensions look close. A wrong-compound O-ring will swell and bind the piston within weeks.
