La Marzocco Steam Wand Tip - 4-Hole, 1.5mm
This stainless steam wand tip has four 1.5mm holes for classic wide-bore microfoam texturing on La Marzocco wands.
SPECIFICATIONS
- 1/8" BSP thread
- 4 holes x 1.5mm
- Tapered thread seals by mechanical force (no gasket/O-ring)
COMPATIBILITY
- Fits: La Marzocco steam wands with 1/8" BSP tip thread
- Works with: a finer-textured 1.2mm 4-hole tip is also available for tighter microfoam
INSTALLATION
DIY - hand-tight plus a firm final turn; don't use thread sealant, since the tapered machining is designed to seal on its own.
PRO TIPS
- Because this tip seals purely on the precision of its tapered threads (no O-ring or gasket), over-tightening with a wrench can actually damage the seal rather than improve it - snug by hand until it stops turning, then a firm quarter-turn more is normally enough.
