La Marzocco Group Head Cap Bolt
This is the Allen-head cap bolt that secures the group head cap on La Marzocco commercial machines, an M8 x 60mm bolt with only the final 9mm of the shank threaded.

INSTALLATION
Simple DIY swap with a 6 mm Allen driver, no special tools required.
PRO TIPS
- Because only the last 9 mm of the shank carries threads, don't keep cranking once you feel it seat, the smooth shank above the threads won't grip, and forcing it past that point just strips the bolt hole or snaps the head.
