Bayonet ring that locks the portafilter into the group on La Marzocco machines; wears with use and eventually causes the portafilter to seat loosely or engage incorrectly.

Requires group disassembly; best handled by an experienced technician.
PRO TIPS
- If your portafilter feels loose or won't lock in fully at the usual angle, a worn bayonet ring is the most common culprit - inspect it before assuming the portafilter itself is worn.
