INSTALLATION

Basic hand-tool job - torque to spec, don't overtighten the nylon insert.

PRO TIPS

  • Nylon-insert lock nuts lose their locking force once removed and reinstalled a few times - if you're servicing a valve you've been into before, replace this nut rather than reusing it to avoid it backing off under vibration.
