Boiler must be drained and depressurized before removing the end cap - a job for a technician comfortable working on pressurized boilers.

PRO TIPS

  • Torque the end cap bolts evenly in a cross pattern when reinstalling - uneven torque on a gasket this large is a common cause of a fresh install still weeping at the seam.
