INSTALLATION
DIY-doable if you're comfortable working through a valve stack in order, but a technician is a safer bet if you've never had one apart before.
PRO TIPS
- Lay the small washers, spring, and pin out in the order you remove them, this valve stack is easy to reassemble with a washer flipped or out of sequence, and that's the most common cause of a rebuild that still leaks.
- A valve that only weeps when the machine is idle (not while water is actively flowing) is almost always this seal kit, not a cracked valve body, worth trying the cheaper fix first.
