Cafelat's clever all-in-one portafilter for the Millennium-era (post-2000) La Pavoni Europiccola and Professional, the bottom plate presses in and out via a silicone o-ring, so one portafilter works as a standard spouted or bottomless unit. Machined from 304 stainless steel.

INSTALLATION

Threads on like a standard portafilter, no tools required for day-to-day use, and the bottom plate press-fits in and out by hand.

PRO TIPS

• The o-ring that retains the bottom plate is a wear item, if the plate starts popping loose during tamping or dosing, replace the o-ring before assuming the whole portafilter needs replacing. Confirm 51 mm vs. 49 mm sizing against your machine before ordering, since the two aren't interchangeable.
