C-Clip Retaining Ring, E-9
A DIN 471 / UNI 7435 E-9 style external retaining clip, used in several vintage Faema and La Pavoni valve and group assemblies.

COMPATIBILITY
- Fits: Obsolete Faema Compact and No Stop manual groups, Faema Star-Tronic water valve spigot, older La Pavoni P-Series steam/water valves
INSTALLATION
Requires snap-ring pliers to install/remove correctly, don't pry it on with a screwdriver, which can distort the clip or scratch the shaft.
PRO TIPS
- Always use the correct size snap-ring pliers rather than standard pliers or a flathead, a distorted E-clip can pop loose in service and let the component it's retaining walk out of position.
