Brasilia Ceramic Steam Valve Elastic Pin
A 16 x 2.5mm spring-steel roll pin (elastic pin) that locks the shaft into Brasilia's ceramic steam valve assembly. It's a standard DIN 1481 pin, but on a ceramic valve, driving it correctly matters more than on a typical brass valve.

INSTALLATION
Technician-level, driving the pin in or out takes a proper punch and light hammer taps, not a screwdriver and brute force.
PRO TIPS
- Support the ceramic valve body directly under the pin when you drive it out, an off-axis hammer strike transmits shock through the shaft into the ceramic housing and can crack it, which is a far more expensive mistake than the pin itself.
- Never reuse a roll pin you've driven out, once compressed and released, it loses spring tension and won't hold the shaft as tightly the second time.
