Ascaso Over-Pressure Bypass Valve
Safety and adjustment valve that opens to relieve excess hydraulic pressure, and can also be used to dial in pump dispensing pressure.
SPECIFICATIONS
- 1/8" female x 1/8" male BSP fittings; outlet works with 5 x 8 mm silicone tubing
COMPATIBILITY
- Fits: Ascaso pump/hydraulic circuit (models using this bypass design)
- Replaces: Ascaso I.2639
INSTALLATION
Moderate - technician recommended when using it to adjust pump pressure, since it affects extraction and requires a gauge to verify.
PRO TIPS
- If you're using this to fine-tune pump pressure rather than just replacing a failed valve, adjust in small increments and re-check pressure at the group with a gauge after each turn - overshooting and chasing the adjustment back and forth is the most common mistake.
