3/8" Boiler Safety Valve - 1.8 Bar
This is the standard 3/8" boiler safety pressure relief valve set to release at 1.8 bar. Espresso boilers run at different working pressures depending on the model, so double-check your machine's original valve size before ordering, some use a smaller 1/4" version and others step up to a 1/2" version, and installing the wrong size won't seal correctly.

PRO TIPS
- Never swap a safety valve's pressure rating to "fix" a machine that's running hot or over-pressurizing, that's a pressurestat or thermostat problem, and masking it with a higher-rated valve is a safety hazard.
- If the valve is weeping or won't stop dripping after a fresh brew cycle, it's usually mineral scale holding the poppet slightly off its seat, not a bad valve, a descale often resolves it before you replace the part.
