Important Return Instructions for Your Ascaso UNO and DUO Espresso Machines

To ensure a smooth return process, please adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Condition: Machines must be received in 'Like New' condition in original packaging. ‘Like new’ product is an item that has been removed from its box and used as intended by the manufacturer for a short period of time.

2. Packaging: All items, components, manuals, and packing materials must be returned in their original packaging. The product must be clean and dry upon arrival at our warehouse.

3. Cleanliness: Any item returned to us that requires extensive cleaning will incur a cleaning deduction from the refund, or may be refused.

4. Damage: The product must not be functionally or cosmetically damaged in any way.

5. RMA: Please obtain an RMA and include a copy with your return. This will expedite the return process by letting our team know how to process your return.

Before Packaging your Machine for Return, Please Complete the Following Steps:

  • Perform a backflush on the group head: Following instructions in the manual, please clean any grounds from the group screen and backflush the group head with water.

  • Purge and clean the steam wand. Please ensure that there is no dried milk residue stuck to the steam wand.

  • Empty all water from the machine: Empty the water reservoir, then run the group head for 5-10 seconds to purge any remaining water from the brewing system.

  • Clean the machine: Please take care to remove any coffee residue or grounds from the machine. This includes the group head, backsplash, drip tray, and drip grate.

  • Place all accessories in the original accessory box. Take care to ensure the box is securely placed on the drip tray of the machine to prevent damage. Replace the foam padding between the box and the lower grate and backsplash area.

  • Take pictures of the machine: Please take photos of the front, sides, top, rear and lower drip tray area of the machine. Damage to the machine requiring refurbishment will result in charges. These pictures will help if any damage is sustained during return transit.

  • See pictures below to ensure the machine is properly covered before placing the machine in the box. Use all original foam padding to protect the machine in the carton. Missing packaging materials will result in additional charges.

  • Please package the machine in the original packaging and ship to:
