Tucked in between the snowy peaks of the Cascade Mountain Range in Central Oregon, Bend shines like a coffee beacon to all who dare to brave the pass. 65 degrees and beautiful sunny weather greeted the EP crew as we twisted and turned our way into town.
With the garage door flung open, fire pit blazing, and over 100 people crowded inside, everyone was ready to throwdown at Backporch Coffee Roasters!
Local baristas from Thump Coffee, Lone Pine, Stackhouse, Sisters Coffee and Bad Wolf Bakery & Bistro all gather in support of the community event. Besides the friendly neighborhood competition, baristas travelled from Portland, Burns, and even Illinois to vie for the huge cash of prizes.
